I have decided to join the blogging millions and put my thoughts on line.
My plan is to sew up the stash, but I spend more time on line than in the sewing room. Hopefully this blog will encourage me to sew more so I have something to share with others.
Mmmmm....we'll see....

Wow this is exciting, can't wait for the blogging, Vicki!
I am starting to make a 1930s dress for a client. It will be her wedding dress. I have started to get very anxious as the satin fabric has to be cut on the bias. I know that I can do it ,but I will no doubt have to buy more of the lovely gold drapey fabric as I will make a mistake or 2,or three! (I gave her a very low quote to make the dress up!) But I want to impress myself as well as my client and her guests. I want it to be the dress she has in her mind. Being slinky and sexy. If I was to follow the replica 1930s pattern(on the grain) I dont feel that it will hang the right way.panic. Blah Blah Blah
